Ten Ball Backpack
The pod backpack that loves you. A bold statement, one that is probably a little less descriptive than we’d hoped, but feedback has shown us how much people fall in love with this small pod backpack. Lovingly small but perfectly formed.
The outside features a large elliptical main front opening, conveniently double zipped with strong black metal zips, leading to a strangely tardis like and cavernous interior. But that’s not before we have a tucked away back pocket (see video above, watch the video anyway… go on) this outside pocket is perfect for items you may want to grab, such as passports, wallets/purses, glasses… small stuff, you get the picture.
Inside is organised the same as the larger backpacks. To the rear is a padded laptop section, suitable for a modern 13 inch laptop, macbook etc. next is a document slip pocket, the perfect place for flat things, notebooks, tablets, paperwork and documents etc. Then you have a generously sized zipped pocket, ideal for phone, wallet or something you need easy access to, but want secure.
The body of the backpack and the unique design leads to a unique interior – it’s been adopted as a daily backpack by many customers now, who report back how convenient and handy it is. Made from our custom laminated and waxed canvas outside, handloom recycled linings and robust and strong metal hardware.

+ Is the bag waterproof?
The outside canvas has a unique water repellant treatment that makes the canvas rain proof. The natural and vegan process the canvas undertakes is ideal for all normal weather and conditions, it can also be further treated with Cora + Spink wax finishes. Over time the canvas will need to be topped up if you're outdoors lots. Please get in touch if you need more information.
+ What is the returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days where the product has not been used and is returned to us in the same condition (so we can sell it) as it arrived. This includes all straps, buckles, packaging, labels and other supplemental items included in the original sale. Please contact us directly to authorise and obtain a returns address. + Care instructions.
All C + S products are made by hand using natural materials. They are strong and robust, but do require care and attention to ensure they have a long and fulfilling life. We recommend removing mud and stains with a stiff brush, you can then use a damp cloth to gently remove any unwanted marks.
Due to the nature of the material finish, you may encounter fading of the canvas - this is to be expected. Don't use harsh chemicals, and do not wash in a washing machine. Specialist cleaners can help - if you have a particularly difficult stain please contact us directly, and we will do our best to advise.
+ Is it vegan?
Short answer, absolutely yes. No animal products or by products are used in the production of the backpacks, this includes but is not limited to the glues and treatments, the inks, dyes and the waxes... the working environment where all the backpacks are made is exclusively used only for Core + Spink products, meaning we control all elements of production.

Just received my gorgeous black pod backpack. Smart enough for the everyday commute for work and for casual weekends. I was slightly worried it would be too small for my needs but really it is ideal. Small enough to be smart and compact big enough for my tech, lunchbox, book etc. The quick pocket for travel passes, purse etc is super handy. The canvas feels lovely. The leather feels nice and strong and inside the pattern and pockets are beautiful. Really feel like this will be my back for life now! Fingers crossed and thank you!

Just received first samples of our new Its Navy canvas complete with a new finish applied. Different colours and different batches of canvas during the year have quite different or varying "handles", we love this change as it reflects the true nature of a natural material. But this doesn`t stop us from fiddling. Here we were experimenting with a stiffener that we can apply to give the canvas a slightly different feel, unfortunately it appears the effect has affected the waterproofing...
