October, Where Did You Go?

October went by in a blur of golden leaves, endless delivery boxes, and an obscene amount of caffeine. Before we knew it, five in the afternoon started looking like midnight, and winter decided to show up unannounced.

Between brand-new stock drops, major website overhauls, and plenty of personal milestones, here is what the team got up to this month.

Fresh Off the Delivery Van

We heard the cries, we saw the DMs, and we listened.

At the start of the month, we were greeted by the most exciting delivery driver of the year. Two hundred kilos carried up the stairs later by Tim and Olivia (okay, fine, mostly Tim), our brand-new stock was finally in our hands. Your all-time favorite bags arrived with a rich autumnal makeover, and we were practically itching to get them unpacked, photographed, and straight into your carts.

Operation: Website Revamp

Amidst the chaos of delivery week, we spent the majority of our time behind the lens. We set ourselves the slightly wild goal of updating product shots not just for the new stock, but across our entire catalogue.

Shooting 12 distinct styles across 5 or 6 colourways – from every conceivable angle and setup – was a marathon, but we can officially add studio lighting and shadow-wrangling to our LinkedIn skillset.

Meanwhile, Tim was scurrying away in the corner coding the backend to ensure a smoother better shopping experience. We launched our brand-new custom embroidery tool live on the site, meaning you can now personalise your favourite pieces directly at checkout!  Plus, if a bag happens to sell out before you snag it, shout us! You can now send us a direct restock enquiry right on the product page.

Keep your eyes peeled – there are even more features on the way.

Friends in the patch

October didn’t just bring darker evenings; it brought a shared love for local craft. We were thrilled to collaborate with Pumpkins R Us in Southam – a hardworking family business that has been growing pumpkins of every imaginable shape, size, and colour for over two decades. There’s something special about independent businesses teaming up, so we collaborated to host an autumn pumpkin-carving contest.

Tim and the lovely Daisy from Pumpkins R Us went head-to-head in a carving showdown! We asked you guys to vote for your favourite, with everyone who entered going into the draw to win free tickets to the patch and their very own orange Tiger Bum.

Spoiler alert: Tim did not win but congratulations to Daisy for winning the contest and relaying her family’s love for pumpkins to us!

Happy Birthday, Chloe!

Towards the tail end of the month, Chloe galivanted off to France to celebrate her birthday in style. We will gently point out that the trip coincided a little too conveniently with our heaviest warehouse deliveries, leaving Olivia and Tim to carry the literal weight. (We forgive her, of course. Happy Birthday, Chloe!)

House Renos & Spooky Season

Speaking of Tim, he had a whirlwind start to the month, officially moving into his new house and diving headfirst into a massive renovation project. Yet somehow, precisely 31 days and dozens of moving boxes later, he still managed to host an unforgettable Halloween party to see out the spooky season. Chloe went as a witch, Olivia went as a knight and Tim went as himself.

October has been officially laid to rest

With the scary festivities wrapped up, it is officially all green lights on Christmas prep, festive content, and upcoming pop-ups with our friends Henderson Hound another independent family business.

Stay tuned – the best part of the year is just getting started!
